Earth Friendly Baby Products - Review

We were lucky enough to be sent these Earth Friendly Baby range products from Lansinoh to test out for them - They do 3 different flavours, including Calming Lavender, Soothing Chamomile and Happy Mandarin. This UK made product is award winning and is a certified organic cosmetic.

We were given the soothing chamomile range.
1 Massage Oil
1 Shampoo & Body Wash
1 Body Lotion
1 Bubble Bath
1 packing of wet wipes

A soon as they arrived, Amelia made me put the body lotion on her legs and got all excited about it! She was telling me to smell her and I have the say, it's a very fresh smell. At first I wasn't sure but then I smelt the lotion on my hands and decided that I liked it.

Massage Oil -
This is a product that we don't really use in our house, so for now I have put this aside and decided that when Ezra comes I will try some baby massage on him and use this oil for that.
(Review for this will be added once we have tried the product.)

Shampoo & Body Wash -
This body wash is made with English Chamomile (good for it's anti-inflammatory) with a touch of grapefruit. 99.2% of the product is natural ingredient and it's 50.1% organic so it's perfect for delicate skin.

After washing Amelia with this product she smelt so gorgeous and her skin felt really nourished. It's easy to spread and doesn't slip off the skin as soon as it's applied so I managed to cover her whole body in bubbles before washing it off. When I applied to her hair, the product starting foaming out of nowhere and created an amazing, soft, mound of bubbles on her hair and felt so lovely in my hands (and most probably on her head.) I much prefer this product as a shampoo due to how bubbly it went, but it's convenient that you can use it for body wash too. Meaning if you are travelling you only have to take 1 bottle instead of a separate one for each hair/body. I got a very strong smell of orange which was absolutely lovely!

Body Lotion -
The benefits of the body lotion are similar to the shampoo and body wash as again it's
Chamomile with a splash of citrus and grapefruit. It's a light body lotion so it spreads well meaning you can cover more of the area with a smaller amount.

This was the product that we first used as Amelia got excited, and we were very impressed. Straight away after I applied onto Amelia's legs, they felt so soft and smooth. The next day we applied after her bath and I feel like we barely used any of the lotion yet managed to cover her whole body. The smell that was let off by the lotion followed Amelia around and she just smelt gorgeous. The lotion is quite watery which I like as it helps it spread and it soaks into the skin easily rather then leaving a sticky moisture on the skin.

Bubble Bath -
A small drop of this will leave your bath lusciously bubbly. This bubble bath is quite thick, rather then a smooth runny product, so when you put into the water and splash around it seems to create more bubbles.

My daughter is bubble mad and as usual makes me add more bubbles halfway through the bath, so she literally has a mountain of bubbles in her bath. The whole bathroom smells sweet and refreshing. Most products irritate Amelia's skin so we can't normally use bubble baths and she will normally bath with just water and a body wash, but this product seemed very delicate and doesn't bother her skin at all! We have used it for about a week now and no eczema has appeared.

Wet Wipes -
Although these products are aloe vera - they still include Chamomile and Calendula. They are perfect for every day use and 100% biodegradable.

I do have to admit - I'm not a huge fan of the smell of the wipes, I'm not quite sure why. They don't smell horrible and I find it difficult to explain what it is that I dislike. I feel they just have a really strong scent for wet wipes. Despite that, I love them. It says on the pack that they are thick, but I would have classed them as thin yet strong, and at the same time they are so soft to touch leaving you feeling really clean. These wipes aren't overly wet but they have the right amount of moisture which is good because they don't leave you with damp hands after you've used them.

Overall I was very impressed with all of their products and the only negative comment I have is the smell of the wet wipes. I love the design of all of the products, and the caps on the lids are very suitable. I would defiantly recommend this brand and this range of product.
