37 weeks pregnant - Finally considered FULL TERM!!

At this point Ezra should be about 19.13 inches long (the size of a winter melon/swiss chard??) and weighs about 6.30lb! With only 21 days until our due date, little man is fully grown and ready to live in the outside world, it's all a waiting game now until he decides to make his arrival! The little hairs on his body have detached themselves and all his organs are ready and waiting to be used properly!

Ezra has definitely dropped within the last week, my belly has changed shape and size completely and there's now a lot of weight on the bottom of my belly and pelvis. I can feel his head inside my pelvis and keep getting the shooting 'lightning'
pains down there. We also had to take a little trip to the hospital too as I noticed a little bit of blood - It could have been part of a show but they weren't sure. They also hooked me up to a monitor and said my BP was high but everything else was fine. Also they did an internal and my cervix was still shut and I was having no contractions so they said all was okay to go home but I had to go back the next day for another Anti-D.

When we went back the next day we waiting about 20 minutes for the injection, and after that I asked if we could look around the birth centre where we will be having Ezra - We had Amelia with us too and wanted to show her where he would be born. I didn't take any photos but I wish I did because it was so gorgeous in there. There are two rooms, a pink and a blue one (we want the blue as it's a bit brighter than the pink) each room has a birthing pool, a large S sort of shaped bed and a padded leather recliner chair. There's also a radio which you can plug your phone in, really beautiful lights and coloured blinds. The room seems very relaxing and homely, and you also have a kitchen which you can use as well as a postpartum room which is much better than the average wards and looks like a really comfortable room. I mentioned wanting to come home as soon as I can and they said the less amount of time I have to be there is 6 hours, so the doctors can come round and check everything is okay.

Everything seems so real now, I've had signs that labour is soon on it's way, the hospital bag is packed and ready, the car seat, moses basket and bouncy chair is all washed and ready and his clothes are washed too. Amelia is so ready to meet her little brother and we are so ready too. I pumped up the birth ball and will be taking daily strolls from now on to help soften my cervix and within the next few weeks we are most likely going to be a family of 4!!
