My Darling Daughter..

For the past 3 years, you have been my only child. The only other person that I've had to care for every single day. In just a few weeks time, your life will change. You will no longer be an only child, you will become the most amazing big sister. You will be somebody to look up too, and you, yourself will have somebody to look out for. I know for a fact that you will be your brothers hero, because you are mine and at times you have seen me at my worse and it's because of you that I have pulled through. The day you were born, you lit a spark in my life. You showed me what true love really was, you taught me to appreciate your Daddy in a way that I never would have known how too if we hadn't have had you.

I want you to know that once your brother is born.. Mummy will have to love another child just as much as I love you. I won't love you any less, but at times mummy will have to put Ezra before you. I'm sure in time you will understand, that you are a big girl now and Ezra is tiny baby who can't do anything by himself. I hope more then anything that you never feel left out, and I will always try my hardest to make you feel like you are the best big sister in the world.

Sometimes I watch you playing, and you look so lonely. Once Ezra is a little bit older, he will be able to be your playmate. He will be your companion, the final part of our little family. Mummy can't wait to be able to play with you again like she used to, running round the house playing hide and seek. I'm sorry that I have been so tired recently and not much fun, but soon, we will have the best playdate EVER and we will have little Ezra by our side! I am so proud of you my darling daughter, and every day you amaze me with something new.

So thank you, for changing my world, for giving me the privilege of being your Mummy. Thank you for being the bestest, bravest, most beautiful Daughter in the world.
