My photography

I spend most of my life sat in and live a pretty boring life. I don't really have any 'hobbies' neither do I go out and do 'fun' things, mainly because I've forgotten what is fun to do; But I do enjoy photography and have done a few photoshoots for others as well as taking my own photos.

Since I was about 8 I have enjoyed photography and I got my first dslr camera when I was about 13? I'm not glued to my camera and half of the time I miss amazing opportunities to get really good pictures, this is because I sort of have phases and sometimes I don't put my camera down, and other times I don't even pick it up. A couple of years ago my mum and my partner brought me an online photography course, which I really enjoyed doing. I passed with 96% and after that I decided to put my name out there and bring in clients. I did a good number of studio shoots, also I did a christening and assisted wedding. and I will be photographing a wedding in March which will be my first proper wedding job (hopefully it goes as well as I've planned.)
Before I did my course I used auto settings on my camera, and the photos never came out as I wanted. Learning to use manual is the best thing I did, it completely changes the photographs. Along with knowing how to use editing software properly. I use photoshop CC and I absolutely love it! At a first glance it looks so confusing, but having a programme which does exactly what you want it to do, is a lifesaver. I plan that one day I will have my own proper photography business, with my own studio and a steady income; but until then I will keep going as I am, putting my name out there and making do with what I can.
