At 29 weeks Ezra is 15.2 inches long - About the size of a Butternut Squash. He weighs an average of 2.54lbs and should triple in weight before being born. His muscles and lungs and continuing to mature, and his head is growing bigger to make room for his developing brain.
In just a weeks time, we will be entering the final 10 weeks of our pregnancy and it's starting to hit me how little time we have left. The last 10 weeks will fly by and I still have so much preparation to do. I haven't started stocking up on wipes/nappies and there's a few important bits that we still haven't managed to get.
The past week I have had an extremely itchy belly, so I think it's about time I got myself a good moisturiser to help my growing skin to stretch - and I am also going to start using a rescue balm from 'The Green People' which you apply 'down there' and it allows the skin to stretch easier when giving birth. I will write up a review about this after bub is born.
We have also come to the stage where I'm starting to get swollen feet and I'm really struggling to move around. I now feel like a slob and due to the fact that I weigh more then I ever have in my life - I'm starting to find my size a hard thing to deal with. I don't think this would normally bother me, but I have no jeans that currently fit me, 1 bra and I seem to be circling the same clothes around. I urgently need to get myself some comfortable maternity clothes for the last 10 weeks of our pregnancy.
Amelia picked out a little monkey comforter to give to Ezra when he is born and they meet for the first time, but when it arrived she loved it. I have put it away for Ezra at the moment but think I will buy a matching one for Amelia too.
