Pinterest Easter inspiration

With Amelia's birthday on top of Easter, we have never properly done easter as we have always gone over the top with her birthday. So this will be the first year that she's had a good Easter and she should actually understand it. She will be doing stuff at nursery to do with Easter and it's great for children her age as they will love the idea of a magical bunny bringing chocolate ;)

Easter Baking

Toddlers love helping out in the kitchen, especially when they know it's going to taste good. Stick with the theme and be creative. Even if your baking doesn't turn out great, your child will love getting involved and messy! Try out these ever so cute little bunny bottom biscuits or a yummy carrot cake!

Activities

Fill your day with loads of fun activities - Pinterest has loads of ideas for all different types of activities you can do to entertain your toddler for Easter. You can download a 'Pin the tail on the bunny' printable, create paper plate animals, create a mini spring garden or even make some easter egg decorations. Don't forget to also get your toddler involved in an Easter egg hunt, and even have fun yourself by pretending to be the Easter bunny!

Easter Basket Fillers

Everybody gets Easter eggs, but I love the idea of creating an Easter gift basket, especially for children. You can find so many things to put inside, including Easter themed sweets or a cute bunny toy. Giving Easter related books is a great idea as it teaches children more about Easter and allows them to appreciate new life and the beginning of spring.
