Pipsy Koala Sunshade - Review & Giveaway

These sunshades come in a pack of 2 and are designed for use on the inside of your car window in order to prevent the glare from the sun. Each sunshade has two suction caps, either for the top and bottom or the sides of the shade. The shades can be removed from the suction caps and neatly folded down when not in use. Dimensions are 36cms x 44cms meaning that you can still open your window a little to allow some ventilation.

I have never owned a set of sunshades before, but have used them in my mum's car. The first thing I noticed was how strong the shades felt, they were not flimsy at all and they feel like they would last a good while. They are a light/greyish colour which is great as they reflect the sun away from the window letting in as little glare as possible. I also love that they have two suction caps rather than 1. This means that they are much more supported on the window and don't just fall off. I've previously used ones which only have one suction cap in the center and it seemed to move around a lot, but as you can attach these ones with two - they are tightly fixed into place. You could even put both suction caps at the top of the shades, enabling you to open the window fully. The shades fold away really easily, making them very small and compact.

When we drive down our local road (where Amelia always complains about the sun in her eyes) I looked back and could see the darkened area on her face where the sunshade was working, and I asked her if she was being blinded and she said no. That was my proof that the sunshades definitely do their job. She loves the design on the shades, it's good that they are not just plain as it gives children something to look at.

We have ended up only using 1 of these shades as my partner say's that he can't see out of the side window with the second one up in the back, but it's great to know that we have a spare in case the one that we are using gets dirty or for any reason broken.

Overall I am very impressed with this product, it works better then any sunshades I have seen/used and my daughter loves it too! It's great too that it has the Pipsy Koala branding on as it's a super cute design!
