Another week down and we are now only 9 weeks away from Ezra's due date - At this point he is 16.18 inches long, about the size of a pineapple and he weighs 3.31lbs! He is about to have yet another growth spurt meaning my big tummy is going to grow even more. He can now move his head from side to side and all of his 5 senses are fully working.
This has been the first week that I have been experiencing quite a few symptoms. I've had awful heartburn which has been keeping me awake at night, trouble breathing due to my
lungs being squashed, needing the toilet 10000000x a night and I think I've also had some braxton hicks this week too. I booked a midwife appointment this week too which is on Tuesday and is the first one I've had since about 20 weeks?
I am now struggling with the 20 minute walk to Amelia's nursery and have to take about 5 breaks on the way. Ezra goes really low down when I'm walking which puts a lot of pressure on my hips and the bottom of my tummy. I sometimes feel like he is about to drop out as he feels so low down, but I'm still suffering with shortness of breath so I'm now unsure if he has dropped or not.
I can feel that Ezra can shake his head now, I know he is head down already and when he does shake his head it's right on my bladder and feels like he's trying to headbang against my insides.. Which as you can imagine is very uncomfortable, especially when I'm walking.
Paul has brought Ezra a few more bits this week but we still have so much stuff to buy before he comes - I haven't got any feminine care bits for my hospital bag and we are yet to stock up on nappies/wipes so I'm starting to panic a bit about getting everything ready before he comes.
The weeks are going by so quickly now, but I'm dreading the size I'm going to get by the end. I'm uncomfortable all of the time now and I'm feeling run down as I'm up so much during the night and then during the day I have to run around after Amelia. It's hard to put my own socks on and bend down to pick up Amelia's toys so I'm praying that he comes a week or so early rather then going overdue.
